this has been a busy week for me, and i've been trying to take out the time to focus and meditate on the meaning of Easter. on palm sunday, we discussed passover and i was overwhelmingly struck again by the sacrifice that God made to send His son to save us. i am so undeserving, and yet he gave up EVERYTHING so that i could spend an eternity with Him. i don't think i have the words to express how thankful and grateful i am, but i didn't want to let the day go by without a mention. i am SO happy to be able to say that my savior lives. i'm looking forward to celebrating that fact this easter sunday, and hopefully keeping this grateful attitude all year round.
romans 5:8 "But God demonstrated his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. "
john 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
